Family Owned & Operated Since 1921

In 1921, our great-grandfather, Jennings W. Hardwick, began selling caskets at Peoples Hardware located in the heart of Loris on Railroad Avenue. Initially, the delivery truck was used to transport caskets to families homes, but quickly evolved to include the church and cemetery. It was from these humble beginnings that Hardwick Funeral Home began a legacy of excellence in funeral service for four generations. The expertise of Jennings W. Hardwick, Harold Hardwick and Steve Hardwick have been passed down to brothers, Chris and Rhett Hardwick, who are honored to serve the community that they grew up in and love.
